Hey guys,
As stated in my other thread, I'm pretty certain I will be buying a new X758 in the near future and will be using it just for mowing and plowing (at least for now).
Anyhow, here's what I think I will be needing based on what I've read and been told (by dealer).
Obviously, the 54" plow with the quick connect.
Auto connect for the mower.
Diverter valve for the hydraulics to prevent the "floppy plow" issue.
Possibly chains for the rear tires. My ATV doesn't need chains, but it has very aggressive tires. The X758 will have the turf tires, so chains may be needed for plowing.
What do you guys think about the Block Heater for the diesel? It gets cold here, and I've plowed at temps down to zero. The tractor will be kept in an unheated shed. So, I need the machine to start no matter the temp. Again, not every having a diesel, I don't quite know what to expect. However, I do know that diesels can be harder to start in cold temps.
Also on the diesel... do you guys recommend any fuel additives?
Any other suggestions, recommendation or tips are appreciated.
TIA
