I've been away from GTT for a while. Up to my neck in new house construction project which is really eating away at any free time. Hope to have this house ready to move into by January of the new year. At least that's what my contractor is telling me.
I was in the local Lowe's the other day & spotted a Rockwell compact 4 1/2 inch circular saw. I think this is a new item & I was really attracted to it. My wife was bugging me to buy myself a Christmas gift...but first I need to do the research. I hate taking out my 7 1/2 inch SkillSaw for a simple quick cut.
Last year I purchased Rockwell's Versa Cut Saw & built three shipping crates with it & it was a great tool to use. Now I think I should get this new compact saw. The only thing it does not have is a Laser sight, but I don't think it's a big deal. Im surprised they did not include one in the design as the Versa Cut saw I bought a year ago has one. Any opinions would be appreciated. Happy Holiday to all.
