Help - john deere trs 185

I have also have a john deere 185 hydro...bought it for my dad who is need of a rider. It has the mower deck and snowblower attachment...i don't need it so looking to sell it...

Of course, issues with it. I don't know if i just need a new battery or what but troubles turning over. The lights turn on so i know the battery isn't fully dead. Have only been able to get it started either by jumping it and using starter fluid...any ideas/recommendations!?!?
