2320 Home made snow plow (sort of)

So as the title says, this is some pics and info about my home made snow plow (of sorts) on my 2320. After the last two winters of using my rear blade, having to use weights to make it cut through crusty snow, and getting multiple cricks in my neck from looking over my shoulder behind me, I decided I wanted a front blade this season. I didn't want to spend the $1500+ for a new one with hydraulic lift and angle however, so it was off to Craigslist. After striking out most of this winter, I logged on last Sunday to see one listed only a couple of hours earlier about 45 minutes drive away. Only thing was it was off of a x318 mower and was a little rusty looking. Emailed the guy to see what he was wanting for it, and when he replied with $350, I hopped in the truck and was on the way to pick it up. After getting it back to the house, I started mocking up the brackets I would need out of cardboard. It helps to have full access to a fab shop at work I might add. After about an hour of cutting and welding on some scrap 3/8" x 4" plates I had laying around my garage, and an hour of drilling holes, I had my brackets on and the blade mounted. Just had to get some longer hoses made at NAPA to reach my hydraulic connectors under the platform. (Another $300) The only issue I have with it, is that I made the brackets hang down too low, and I have to remove them to install my 200cx loader. So it will just stay in the barn for the rest of the snow clearing season. All in all, I like how it turned out, especially for only $650.
