I hope the combined experience and knowledge of the participants here can hep me with my decission.
I have about 50 or so feet of my drive way that are turning into some version of an ice skating rink. That is an every year occurrence because the section of the driveway is flanked by large pines on either side.
I am now debating whether to buy chains for the rear tires of my 2320 or put screw in studs into the tires.
Will chains fit without any problems on the rear tires of the 2320, and if so, what kind of chains would be best?
Which ones of these
Garden Tractor V-BAR Chains
or would these also work? Would these get a good grip on icy driveways (not polished ice like an ice skating rink), could they be also used in the summer as a kind of ag tire?
Superior Tech - Accessories - TerraGrip Rubber Tire Chains
Or would these kind of screw in studs be the best solution?
Tractor Tire Studs | Grip Studs™ Screw-In Tire Studs | Traction in Ice, Snow and Dirt | Tractor Tire
What would you do? What would be the best long range and most cot effective solution? Weights don't help. My tractor has Wheel weight, suitcase weights the rea blade and the FEL loader installed (plus a cab and my 220lbs. I don't believe that any more weight would make a difference, I just need more grip.
What shall I do?
