Done with Deere

After spending 2 hours trying to unsuccessfully attach the mower on my 1026R, I have decided to take the loss and look for another tractor. :flag_of_truce: I originally bought it last year with the majority of my retirement money, so that I would have a new "quality" tractor that I could use even with my health issues. The "auto-attach" mower drove my decision for the 1026. It has never worked well and attaching it usually took 30 to 45 minutes of numerous attempts. Only once did it ever go on with the first attempt. I would leave it on unless I needed to remover it for other work.

The dealer has blown me off over this and the hydraulic cap issue and the floppy bucket syndrome. I understand that there is an excellent thread on how to set up the mower attachment, but I am physically unable to do this myself. I just cannot afford to send this thing out to be worked on all the time. I thought that other than routine maintenance, I had a piece of equipment that would last me the rest of my life without constant repairs.

I have never owned a deere product before. Apparently false advertising worked, but no longer for me. :bye:
