Hi Guys,
I was hoping to get some thoughts/comments on the idea of using my 2720's 200CX loader to move my aluminum 3 horse gooseneck trailer in/out/around the barn. I think the loader would lift the tongue ok with proper ballast and the lift point on top of the bucket. I was thinking of just mounting a 2 5/16" ball to the top center of the bucket, but I'm doubtful that it is heavy duty enough to support the trailer's 800lb tongue weight even if I add a little extra plating around the ball. I'd prefer to use a ball fixture towards the end of a set of pallet forks for maxium visibility around the trailer, but don't think the 2720 is nearly enough machine for that.
I think the 3 pt hitch setups with the gooseneck uprights are a cool idea, but visibility would be terrible with a tall wide trailer like this.
