2720 50hr service - Regular or Low-Viscosity Hy-Gard?

I'm getting ready to do my 50hr service on the 2720 and trying to decide on whether to go with regular Hy-Gard hydraulic oil or the low viscosity oil. When I purchased the tractor I wanted a gallon of oil for topping off after adding implements. Not knowing much about the recommendations I asked the dealer which I should get and they said "Low viscosity, always low viscosity". So that's what I bought.

Then after I have the tractor and read the manual I see where is says the tractor has regular oil from the factory (J20C) and further cautions not to mix oils (Thanks dealer!). I've probably added about 1/2 gal. of low-viscosity so far.

I'm reading through the excellent service notes that "Diesel" wrote up and I see where he used regular Hy-Gard. I'm in PA and the tractor sees a lot of winter action. During the summer it is limited to loader and grading. I do NOT do any mowing with the 2720.

According to the manual, regular Hy-Gard is for 0-122F and low viscosity is for -40 to 104F.

Ironically, JD has a complete list of regular Hy-Gard part numbers on the website but doesn't list any low-viscosity part numbers.

Just curious what the consensus is out there among current owners?
