Starter problem with X310

Have recently been dealing with new X310 with 44 inch snow blower Live in northern Mich when it was delivered was shown how to uses hair dyer on bendix so it would engage have had to do several times has anyone come up with a better fix for this horizontally mounted starter and bendix
