My first real tractor so I have tons of questions. Been building and racing cars and motorcycles for 40 years. Drove and fixed big trucks too so I'm a very good mechanic but hydraulics like in this tractor are a new gig for me.
Hydraulics all work power steering is smooth both ways just have a whine that should not be there.
I have the correct service manual and found the check valve is missing on the oil return line from the clutch housing to the pump. Is that an issue?
ALso have not been able to get the pressure relief check valve out yet either over the oil filter. Those are next.
Changed the oil, filter, cleaned the screen, checked the check valve in the reservoir. Getting my 1 gallon in 10 seconds at the reservoir also.
