New to the forum and looking forward to learning and sharing with the group. I am writing this because I am planning to upgrade our tractor to something newer and more useful for our needs and would like to hear if some opinions on my choice. We currently have a 1971 4320 with a cab that we use for snow blowing and mowing ditches/waterways. We also have a Farmall M with a loader that is our only loader tractor.
I plan on trading the 4320 in for a new 5115M with a H260 loader. Wondering if there is anything I should be concerned about with this tractor loader combination? Also has anyone used a side mount mower on a 5115M? We have a New Holland 8' disc mower. How about a snow blower on this tractor? I assume it will be great for this but wondering if anyone has any input.
Below is a list of options that I have on the quote with some help from the salesman. I will probably remove the loader suspension system and the high volume bucket. Are there any options that you would recommend adding or removing?
Concerning the price. I have read on here somewhere that 18% off the "suggested list price" is good? Is that true?
