About 2 months ago I had a leak in one of my drain pipes. In order to fix it and do it right I had to take apart the back wall in our downstairs bathroom. I was just planning on putting sheet rock back up.........taping it and adding a fresh coat of paint. Well........the wife looks at me and says "That bathroom is pretty dated......why don't we redo it?" I had planned on redoing it sometime........so I guess the time is now. I ripped everything off the walls and removed the old toilet and vanity. The wiring was not so good so I rewired it and it's now on it's own breaker. I installed the 3/16" luan on the floor.......7/16" OSB and 1/2" MRV sheetrock on the walls. OH.......had to move some heating pipes and the toilet supply water pipe as well. Been working on this for close to a month now on my days off. I'm on vaction this week........so the progress should go great. I'm almost done taping the walls. Here are a couple of pics. Sorry.......no pics of the demo. Did I happen to say that having only one working tiolet in a house with kids is not good. Man I can't wait for this to be done.
