Hi all,
Just took delivery on a new 1025R with 54D deck and H120 FEL :):). I'm new to SCUT's (moved up from an X320), and have a few questions for the kind folks here:
1. The manual specifies to throttle down before engaging and disengaging the middle PTO (belly mower). This is completely opposite of the practice for the X320. What is the reason for this?
2. The manual says to use J20D preferably, but I've seen mentioned here that J20C might work better for the FEL. I live outside Raleigh, NC, so real cold temps are not an issue.
3. I'd like to invest in a decent 3-pt tiller for light-medium use - looking at Frontier RT1142, Phoenix/Sicma T4-48" or T5-44", or King Kutter XB, all suitable for the 18hp rear PTO. Any thoughts or suggestions? Use would be mostly for redoing lawn and garden.
Thanks all!
