last year we acquired a 345 from within the family.
I went through it and did all the major maintenance. We even did the waterpump......AND then the cam gear about 2 weeks later.
2 of the spindles were harder to turn, so with being short on time, I put factory ones on it.
So this year, I'm attacking the top side of the deck and prepping for paint. Tonight I took off those 2 new spindles and they turn but not "freewheeling" like the older one. My question is: does it take them a while to "break in" so they freewheel or did I get "duds". I'm going to try and rebuild the other ones, but I can't seem to find a good walk-through or youtube vid for that spindle. If anyone has some information, I'd be grateful! Thanks!
