I have a possible issue with my 1026R hydraulic pressure and I want to purchase the latest information for my tractor. I seem to have more than my share of senior moments these days so I wanted to run something by you'all.
I went to John Deere Publications and the information is nothing less than confusing IMO. I may be the only one:unknown:
Look at the 4 screenshots. One and two are from John Deere Publications. Three and four are from GreenPartsStore.
Screenshot 1 - Manual covers two models 1023E and 1026R. They give 4 serial number ranges in two different formats. I'm not sure how to interpret what they are saying :banghead:
Screenshot 2 - Manual covers three models 1023E, 1025E, and 1026R. They give what appears to be two ranges. Again, I'm not sure how to interpret what they are saying :banghead::banghead:
In desperation trying to interpret what the heck they are saying I Googled both publication numbers and went to GreenPartsStore website and found this information:
Screenshot 3 - Says manual covers 1023E and 1026R as before. The range is given as 010,001 to 310,000 for both models.
Screenshot 4 - Says manual covers 1023E range "after ser# 310,001, 1025E range after ser#110,001 1026R range after ser# 310,001
Will, I want to believe GreenPartsStore information because it looks sensible to me and presented in a way someone can understand, but I've run into so many instances of "miss-information" in my lifetime...........:banghead::banghead::banghead:
I'm sure that TM109719 is the correct one for me but trying to determine that from John Deere Publication website information is frustrating. I've seen a couple of pages from the manual and the information shown for hydraulic pressure is confusing and conflicting. That makes TM126919 interesting because it may have addressed the conflict.
