Fun with my X485 Yesterday NOT!!

So I bought the X485 a couple months ago and did all the maintainenance stuff and I mean all, plug, adjust the valves all fluids including AF and Hyguard. I had it all together and only needed to clean up the deck and get it ready. So yesterday being a decent day I went out and fired it up and checked all the systems, and then what the HECK!!! the PTO would not turn on. So I checked all the basic stuff and then tore the seat and rear deck off thinking maybe I pinched a wire or something when I put it all back together. Nope everything was fine, so I did the check the PTO solenoid and it was OK. Geeze I guess there is an electrical issue, so I started doing voltage checks etc and after being just at the point of saying it was the ignition interlock module I took a good look at the plugs going to it and thought man those look abit dirty. So I sprayed them down with contact cleaner then blew them out with my compressor, plugged everything back in and to my delight the PTO started working again. I ended up wasting at least half a day on that issue and never did get to the mower deck. There was a lesson in all that though, Do not over think a problem and start with the basic stuff first. On the plus side though I can strip the rear body work to the frame including gas tank removal in 20 minutes now although I will probably never need to remove it again unless I actually decide to make it all purdy and do some scratch repairs and repainting (not likely though)
