I have been very pleased with my 2009 4320 open station. It has around 400 hours on it. My dealer can get a 2014 (? not sure, may be a 2013) 4520 with a cab that I'm thinking about trading for within the next month. I know it a personal preference thing but economics aside, is there a reason not to upgrade to a cab from an open station? I've never even sat inside a cab on a tractor so I don't know any of the cons of operating a tractor with a cab. 90% of my seat time will be bush hogging / mowing pastures and fields.
Anyone care to share their opinions? I'd appreciate it very much.
A friend told me he wouldn't own a tractor with a cab because he liked to hear the birds while he was operating the tractor. I didn't say anything to him but told my wife he has lots better hearing than I do and a much, much quieter tractor.
