Another Mower Deck Problem / Is it worth the hassle

I have read the posts here .. Im a 3 day owner of 1025/54D

I spent yesterday trying to adjust the deck ..

I have read the sticky , read the manual s

My First Problem was
1. Mechanical Lift / Rockstrap - Clearly was not set from the dealer as I was never able to turn the adjustment over to lock .. Followed the procedure and the Rockstrap is at its limit but got the clearance
2. Deck Level ... I have leveled the decked and it was spot on .. I go to do a test cut and the Right Side is cutting 1 inch Shorter .. Stop and check using the Level Gauge and still spot on ( I am cutting a hillside but get same result going Across or Up and Down .. I adjust the right side up about an inch and appears much better cut .. still slight noticeable short depth in cut .. no way that can be correct..

After my Neighbor and I reviewed all the steps today .. I finally called the Dealer and they are sending someone out Monday ..

My wife is giving me a funny look .. I am frustrated .. I want to give the dealer a chance .. I purchased this due to taking on a few more acres to maintain and felt the X300 (Which cuts perfect) Would not be up to the task of cutting and a potential small garden later ..

So .. here i am in this state ..

Given what i have read on this forum regarding the deck .. Knowing how picky I am about my property ... I am debating at what point and how long I give them before taking it back ... I am not clear on how John Deere would handles that
