Harbor Freight quick hitch

I recently got a harbor freight quick hitch and am working on getting everything working with it. I took it off last night to use my #5 sickle mower which I don't have set up yet and I noticed that the pins that came with the hitch are a little small. I didn't measure them but the bottom ones are just a little bigger than 3/4 and a lot smaller than 7/8. The top pin is a little small for my top link also. I don't really want the pins rattling around in my ball sockets.
What's everybody doing for this? Standard pins? Something special? TIA
