Blowing 10 amp fuses, seat switch related? 2320

Having just got my tractor back from the shop I decided to do a job today. A couple times today the battery gave indications that it may be about to fail. (slow cranking) But it cranked over, so down the road I went. Got onsite and did some mowing, and it seems that when I stopped for whatever reason, the tractor died. I think it shut off when I got off the seat, perhaps I hadnt set the brake or something, not sure. But I had no dash lights when I went to restart. Bought fuse, installed it, ran again. Lil while later I stopped again, at some time during dismount the motor died, no dash lights, nothing. Replaced another 10 amp fuse. At some point the screeching noise returned briefly. (screeching described elsewhere)

Also, later in the day the PTO just cut out, blades stopped turning. At first I assumed the belt had broken, but 30 seconds later I pulled the knob and blades started turning again. IDK what that was?

I am inclined to think some wire got damaged when they had it torn apart last week. Or, does anyone have any suggestion what else might be wrong? I cant afford to keep taking this thing to the shop so often, I need a cheap fix or a different tractor or something. I am at 708 hours. Any ideas what to do would be greatly appreciated.

BBL, I need a break right now. Thank you, Henry
