I got a new frontier BB5072 cat 1 box blade with my 5065. I installed a deere cat 2 quick coupler(not the cat 1 quick hitch) to use with my MX 7 rotary mower and my tiller. They work fine with the proper bushings. The cat 1 width of the box blade is naturally too narrow for the quick coupler.
Can I use the box blade on the cat 2 quick coupler by adding implement arms and bushings to the outside of the cat 1 lower attachment points? If I do, the pins would only go through one of the two attachment plates. Is this enough support? MOst of the cat 2 box blades I have looked at use two plates with a pin in between.
thanks for any thoughts.
