Im trying to sell my John Deere 1026R. I am a service-connected disabled Navy veteran and health issues have limited my ability to use this outstanding equipment. My 1026R has only been used for 2 hours and is practically new. For a prospective buyer, my tractor has the John Deere 4 year Extended Service Plan (ESP) which also includes 4 years of warranty transportation. This means peace of mind.
My 1026R was delivered in November 2012 and it is pretty maxed out. It was configured to accommodate the steep terrain where I live and to be an effective year round tool. Whether the need be to prep soil for planting with the 647 Rotary Tiller, cutting grass with the 60D 7-Iron Mid Mount Mower, bagging leaves and debris with the Power Flow system, or dealing with harsh winters with the 54 Quick-Hitch Snow Blade, careful planning and consideration for safety, performance, and reliability went into this configuration. This included adding wheel weights and Quik-Tatch weights to provide increased traction, improved steering, and appropriate ballast as needed.
The list price of my configuration was about $26,000. Try configuring a new 1025R with comparable functionality and youll see this is even more expensive. I am looking to get somewhere around $17,000 to $18,000 for this tractor. However, I will consider any reasonable offer.
