Ok so here's the story, bare with me. I was bush hogging yesterday and was almost done. Tractor had been running fine for a couple hours. The fuel gauge was down near 1/8 of a tank but I only had just a small area left so I was trying to finish. We'll all of a sudden the tractor starting bogging down, then it would idle back up...then repeat that process again a few times. I thought maybe it was running out of diesel so I cut her of and ran to the store. When I got back it wouldn't start at all...turn over and over but no start.
Here's a little more backstory...the previous owner had just replaced the thermistor about a year ago, and even did me a solid by running two wires to the front of the fuse panel and placing they replacement in a much more user friendly spot.
When I turn the key on I can here a slight "clunk" like the fuel solenoid is picking up, but I can't be sure. Also I thought these 4200s were self priming so thAt even if I ran it out of diesel it would self prime and get the air out of the system.
Any and all input is much appreciated. Thanks!
