955 Hour meter/tach

Hello. How's everybody doing?

I have a quick question for all you experts out there. The hour meter and tach stopped working on my 955. I checked everything I could get at without taking it all the way apart. Didn't want to do that in the middle of mowing season. The PO had replaced the original one and now this one stopped working as well. Any ideas? The cable hasn't come loose and all the wiring seems to be intact. I welcome any suggestions or ideas.
