Lets talk rotary cutter adjustments.

What is the proper height and how to set? What hole do yall run in?

My 1026 was introduced to the hunting camp this weekend and pulled a new Frontier RC2048. It was used to cut food plots over uneven ground.

According the manual the rear tailwheel can be adjusted between 1.5 and 9 inches with the 7 adjustment holes. So thats 1.25in of adjustment per hole. My reading is that you should cut at ~3in with the rear being 1 to 2 in higher. Allowing the tailwheel to fully support the rear of the cutter. If I utilize what I believe to be the 4in hole then I cannot lower the front enough without touching ground. Am I overthinking this?
