Since I finally got the more serious problems taken care of on my 1025r and actually began using it, I decided to address a couple of things about it that I find annoying.
First, I don't like having to have 2 wrenches to remove a side panel, even just to check the oil. And since the bolt that holds each panel on has a locknut, one of the wrenches needs to be a ratchet. So I've replaced the bolts on mine with pins that can be removed and replaced without tools.

The second aggravation was the "key rings" used for locks on the 3-point slack adjusters. pic1.jpg
These are a real PITA for me when trying to adjust one, especially with gloves on. And they usually need adjusting every time you change what's on the 3-point, as I seldom ever have 2 things that are the same width. That's the biggest reason I gave up on trying to use a quick hitch years ago.
Fortunately this was an easy fix, just remove the ring and get a 14mm nut to use as a jam nut. pic2.jpg
This is the way every other tractor I've ever had was: pic3.jpg
