A couple weeks ago I was piling some brush and had just dumped a load of brush so the fork tips were pointing torward the ground. I pushed on the pile and pow blew something under the seat and I was covered in hyd fluid. Limped back to garage pulled tire off and found the curl line on the loader control valve loose and leaking. The line has a bolt though it with a copper seal on each side. Tightened it up and me and tractor had a bath all was good. I made a mental note don't do that again.
Yesterday I was driving slowly and the forks had some dirt on em so I dumped the dirt off and caught the fork tip in the ground and pow did it again we both get another bath. Same line leaking, tighten it up and good. Just because I went to dealer and got a couple new copper seals. When I took out leaking seal one was quite a bit larger then other,it appears when they installed loader they used wrong seal. I double checked JD parts and both seals are the same. Hopefully this cures my leak problems.
I guess my question is should I be able to push on the forks or is it a bad idea.
