Can someone help - The mule belt on my 318 broke, and the main pulley on the mower deck was so hot I burnt my finger. Anyway, took off the deck, checked that everything turned okay, all okay. Put the deck back on and new belt on mule drive. Now when I turn on the tractor the mower blades turn as does the grass thrower. I can engage the pto and the mower blades will turn full throttle, and the light on the dash is lit indicating the pto is engaged. How can the blades be turning if I don't have the pto engaged? Thanks for any help.
