We have a very tough to kill weed in our area called leafy spurge. Any of you from Montana may recognize it as nasty $hit..... anyways, when it blooms it shoots is seed 20+ feet, across fencelines, etc. I have a neighboring property that doesn't seem all that interested in controlling this noxious weed, despite local bylaws stating they should be.
So, here's my idea.....
What do you think of an extra plumbed circuit on my Fimco 55 gallon sprayer that has a single Rain Bird 5000 style sprinkler head, not rotating, on it, on a 4' riser, that basically acts as a boomless sprayer nozzle? It'd get me about 37' of coverage out to the side, that may or may not spray across my fence line to help deter the spurge from chronically reseeding itself in my pasture.
Thoughts on the plumbing and mechanics of it?
I'm aware of drift, and the need for a mask, and the neighbor issues. This is not what I'm looking for advice on.
