I have a 1025r and a 60D auto connect deck. I am having a problem getting all the adjustments right. Before I explain, let me say the dealer' service dept. has done all they can. I made sure the concrete floor was level and it is. Next I checked all tires air pressure and they are right. I used the yellow plastic leveling gauge from Deere. I have the deck within 1/8 inch level side to side. The front blades are 1/8 inch lower in the front than the rear per the manual. Both the left and right blade. The deck is as level as I can make it. The problem: one turnbuckle for the lift is 1/4 inch longer than the other one. Equaling them makes the deck level go wrong by 1/4 to 3/8 inch. To get the deck level side to side the turnbuckles have to be unequal by this measurement. This throws off the draft arms. When in the install mode the left measurement between the hook and the draft arm is 1/4 inch. The right side has a 1/8 inch gap which is perfect. I set the height adjustment knob at 3 inches. In order to make the deck adjusted 1/8 lower in the front the large nuts on the draft arms have to be adjusted so that on the left side there is only 1/2 inch bolt left creating a 1/4 inch gap between the hook and the draft arm. The right side is fully contacted as it should, no gap, but the exposed bolt length is one inch. I can fix the gap but then the deck will not be level. Dilemma??? Any ideas from anyone. Thank you.
