I have a line on a used Agrimetal BW 240 TP blower and know little to nothing about it. What questions should I be asking? Seller says its in good working condition. My local dealer says they would be willing to cut the PTO shaft for me in the event its needed. It looks to have been stored outside. Item is asking $1,200 which seems reasonable. I think I might jump on it providing it is compatible with my 1023e (I believe it is).
It looks to have been stored outside as the paint is faded. Doesn't look like a lot of rust or rot. The deflector is missing that changes blower direction, but I can live without that and will use that as a negotiating chip.
Help me out. I am tempted to buy a new Agrimetal 1600 but can't stomach the price. This seems like the ticket. These things seem few and far between here in the northeast.
I asked the seller if he would be able to demonstrate the unit but he says it is not attached to any machine currently.
