I'm looking to trade my 4720 in for either 5085E or 5075M open station. The dealer has a 5085E in stock with a 260 loader and the 5075M they will have to order. The 5075M is $3-4K more. I'll be using this tractor to rototill, plow and (8ft 3pt hitch)harrow my 1acre garden, run dump cart hauling gravel, maintain 600ft driveway, maintain driveways/field roads on the family's large dairy farm, snow blow and plow in winter, brush hog around all meadows. All I have now is a 6ft mx6 and a 6ft snowblower and tiller. Will be upgrading to hydraulic offset flail mower (maschio giraffa), 7or8ft tiller, 8-9ft snow plow and min 7ft blower.
My main concern is will the 12x12 transmission in the 85E allow me to go slow enough for rototilling? Does anyone know the lowest ground speed at Epto RPMs? Also is the 5075M worth paying the extra $3-4k? I can probably do better on the 5085E since it's the end of the month and they have one on the lot. Thanks for the help!
