My 2032r was delivered on Friday afternoon. I filled my ballast box today with Portland cement.

I put two 4" pvc pipes and two 2" pipes for chain/chainsaw and tool storage. It took only 4 94 lb bags of Portland to fill it to the bottom lip which does not seem like enough to me (I thought it would take about 6 bags).

I taped the seams from the inside so it does not leak and make a mess while filling it.

About 2 hours into curing, I happend to hear a strange noise and when I looked, one of the 4 inch pipes had started to melt and cave in looking like a bubble was blowing!! I quickly took the handle of my shovel and pushed the bulging part in place and then filled that pipe and the other 3 with the hose. I didn't get any pics of it happening but it had almost blocked 1/2 to 3/4 of the 4" pipe when I stopped it. I felt the sides of the box and it was really hot, I grabbed my it temp gun and wow was it hot!! the hottest I saw was about 207. THis probably happened because I used cell core pvc that I had at the house. I bet sch 40 pipe would not of done that.

I kept checking the water temp and when it would reach about 140 I would suck the hot water out and replace it with fresh cold water (did this twice). I even added some ice the last time I did it. I am glad I found this before it was too late. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
