2720 front tire chains

I recently purchased a 2720 and ordered a set of 4 tire chains with it. I have read that wheel spacers are needed to use chains on the front. I was just curious if it was possible to flip the front tires and switch the side that they are on and if this would make the spacers unnecessary? I am not sure if there is enough or any offset to these wheels to make this a possibility but I thought I would at least see if anyone had attempted it before ordering spacers.
