Hey guys, im looking at buying a 1989 jd 750 it in nice shape with 900 hours on it and the price is good. Problem is the seller told me that first gear doesn't work. Just wondering if anyone on here would have any experience with this problem and if it was just something stupid like a shift fork or a pin some were inside the case. Im new to these tractors but mechanically can figure stuff out, i just dont want to buy it if its something major.
