New 1025r questions

well thrilled to have my new 1025 after selling my 4 year old 2305. initial observation is that the 1025 is quite a bit louder than my 2305 was. likely due to the higher rpm on the 1025 but also think the 60d mower is quite a bit louder than the 62c was previously. oh well, jut need to turn up the ipod

I do have a couple questions though

I have noticed my pto shifter from mid to back or both position refuses to move then all of a sudden after moving the tractor or fiddle farting around it'll move. weird the 2305 never did this is there a secret?

also, first thing I did was move the rear warning lights from outside the rops to inside (broken too many lights against trees on my 2305) while doing this I noticed 2 sets of unused wires rapped in the harnesses at back they contain a purple and gray wires. are these for additional rear lights?

what is the knockout on the dash intended for? it appears to be a rectangular switch spot. I'm thinking it would be a good spot for my sprayer switch even the factory harness switch won't panel mount. I likely can cut the harness and put a different switch in. any feedback on what pn I'd need from JD?

next up disable the rio, that was an unexpected "improvement" by jd, never had this on the 2305 and my yard needs lots of reversing so away that goes.

i'm like a kid in the candy store with my new toy thanks for any info you can provide. thanks
