Yanmar engine questions

I just bought a Yanmar thermo king engine TK3.74. It was build by Yanmar for Thermo King Reefers. I havent ran it yet. I am trying to find some info on it and having a hard time. I joined this site because I keep running into john deer engines in the same family type as this one. On Gators and GTs. I plan on putting it in a 8 wheeler. Buts its heavy. If I cant lighten it up some Id like to put it in a cub cadet 1872. I hope nobody hates me for that.:( lol Anyways hoping to find someone with some knowledge on Yanmars possibly out of the John Deere family. Here are the numbers.

Model TK.374
Engine Family: syd739u6d2ra
Displacement .739l
cast# on head: 3TN66

Most the things I would like to know would be found on a spec sheet of the engine but I cant find one anywhere online. I would love to see one if anybody has one.
What I would like to find out is...

1: From what I can find it only has 12.6hp? I cant find the rpm but think its set to run slow so maybe that is why its so low for a .739 liter diesel. Possibly max at 1800 or 2000 rpm? Can anybody answer that? It has a lever on the side to adjust the throttle. Is there something in the injection pump to adjust to allow more throttle?
2: If it is only 12.6hp is there anything easy to do to it to give it more hp. Even a few more. Im hoping this engine is comparable to some other Yanmar engine out of a John Deere. Then I can probably find all sorts of neat tricks to do to it.
3: It hold 8.7 quarts of oil. The pan is deep. So I have to mount it high. Too high to line up with the driveshaft on the Cub cadet. Can I swap it out for some other pan. I see shallower ones on ebay from John Deer GTs with the same numbers 3tn66. Would they be the same? I realize I may have to mess with oil pickup but will they bolt on.
4: This thing is heavy. I found something saying 280lb. I found specs on other Yanmars closer to 180lb. I believe they are close to the same engines looking at the displacement anyways. Why so heavy? lol

Thanks in advance for any help at all here. If anybody has any other directions for me to search feel free to direct me.
