Another stupid noob question. :unknown: Sorry, my first tractor.
I realize that there may be many variables to consider, but I'm curious about what throttle speed I should be using for various tasks. Some implements, such as the tiller I have, need to run at the rated throttle speed (3200 rpm in my case), I get that. But, what about other tasks such as when using the ratchet rake, or the FEL from hefting/moving loads? Should this also be done at rated rpm?
I've noticed that some people think that the need to run at rated rpm when using the FEL is BS (a la DBS). I'm just curious on what - if any - guidelines I should be considering.
