My local JD dealer just finished my 200 hour service which came to $156.33. I also had them do the end of season service MMM deck cleaning/blade sharpening, lube, inspection, adjustment, etc. for $305. All total, it came to $499.15. They also R&R, under warranty, one of the mower deck hangers which had broken "again". This new one only had 20 hours of use on it, before it failed. The other item the mechanic discovered, was a kink in the fuel hose, between the diesel tank and the fuel filter. I had noticed the engine start to stall, when it would labor in deep grass, cutting with the 60" MMM. The fuel line was replaced with a longer one, as a warranty repair item. I'd guess, JD has a repair bulletin out on this kinked fuel line problem, because I forgot to mention the stall issue, when they picked up my tractor for service. The unit otherwise, checked out fine.
Given that these machines are, pretty much cookie cut from the assembly line, I suggest you check your MMM hangers and the fuel line for kinks. My 2026R has an in service date of March 2012. It's still been an excellent machine for mowing, blading and FEL work. I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving :)
