Being a nubie, I have a few questions about a cab heater install. I have a 2520 with an Origional Tractor Cab. I purchased a 12500 btu heater box from Surplus Center, it came with a few fittings and a nice brass shut off valve. I found the raditor hose tee, and an adapter($61), and the hot hose fitting from curtis ind. I was hoping to tare it down do the install and install a block heater all at the same time. I think the curtis adapter taps into the exsisting temp sensor hole. There is a side out let for the hot water. I also bought a pair of 3/4 quick connects so I can remove the heater in the spring and not loose any coolant. I will say It may be cheaper to buy the kit from the dealer @$400 as I may have that in it when I am done, and I have no instructions. Has anyone done this, any advise, shortcuts, cautions? I will say I am amuch better mechanic,builder, welder than computer guy. So photo's, videos, instruction narative is not in my set of skills, sorry.
