6400 won't start intermittently

My tractor gets lots of use this time of year. I'm mowing, and baling hay, dragging irrigation reels, spreading manure, and loading with a squeeze. 12,500 hours on the tractor.

New battery, clean contacts.

Recently I've experienced an intermittent non starting condition that I've been able to overcome by repeatedly shifting the gear range controller from Park into a travel gear and them back to park and then back into gear. I also have manipulated the shuttle shift lever from forward direction to off to reverse direction to off, both while occasionally attempting to start the tractor by turning the ignition key.

I'm of the opinion that a contact isn't making good contact in either the shuttle shift or the gear shift "park" position, thereby creating a safety halt on the start relay.

I just don't know where to look for the problem to replace the contact point.

Have any of you folks dealt with this? Where do I look? What do I replace?
