I'm curious if others have any idea what a safe towing capacity is from the 1025R drawbar? I know this may be highly dependent upon conditions and grade but I'm interested in knowing what others may have hauled/towed and how the machine handled.
The reason behind my question is that I'm looking at rollers. I've previously used a 4 foot wide roller that weighed 900lbs when loaded with an atv. I used this with the 1025R and it is clear that it is more than capable. I've been considering replacing my unit and a reputable local welder builds them in several sizes. I would like something wider to cover the footprint of the tractor while turning. They offer a 6 foot model but the listed weight when loaded is 2,700 lbs. To me that seems like it would have a tendancy to push around the rear end of a 1025R. Especially given that my area does have some grade to it.
