Well I thought I had fixed the PTO start issue with my X485 only to discover it was back after putting the deck on it. After tracing the wiring and switches around under the tractor, I discovered the RIO switch on the reverse pedal was bad. It is only the contacts that are in the PTO cct that are bad as the reverse lights come on when you back up so that kinda threw me. I found the 2 pins in the plugs on the ignition interlock module that come from the switch and put a jumper in and the PTO worked as advertised so I had to spend another 18 bux on a new switch grrrr. So the lesson, if your PTO stops working that switch should be one of the 1st things to check. I gotta say I am still unhappy about the stupid brake switch shutting off the PTO when you press the brake pedal and am having a hard time trying to picture the Darwin moment that caused the law suit that resulted in that stupid setup.
