I am about to upgrade from a L111 to a real machine. Was looking to buy a x738 ,auto connect,60'' mowing deck,rear pto and 3ph.
The jd dealer is stearing me towards 1025r because the price is just about the same and 1025 is more versatile. I have a lot to mow and that's what i'll be doing mostly but I like that the x738 can run some implements otherwise I'd buy a x5xx. I guess my question is What is the advantage to the 1025? Hp the same, pto hp the same. no rops on the x700 and is a few hundred pounds lighter which will be easier on the lawn. have some wet spots in the spring. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
