I'm putting together my pallet racks for storing some of my implements. My racks are 72" high and I'm trying to keep the beams at the top. I have a set of QA forks(not sure if they are factory or home built)
I'm able to get my old snowblower up on the top, but I have to tip the forks back just a tad. I'd like to keep things level. I realize that I could drop the beams....but I'd like to keep the clearance for other implements. My thoughts are
1. build a custom pallet of top ply/1'" stringers/Bottom ply (and hopefully this gives me the needed clearance
2. building up a 2x10 in front of the racking....so the front comes up just a bit...(which is all I need)..
Anyone else ever been in the same boat? What did you do?
