I have an LX277 that has a short some where. The battery draws down very quickly overnight after a fresh charge. I have tried troubleshooting the issue with a multimeter with no luck. I thought it was the oil pressure switch. When I measure the resistance of it to ground it reads 0 ohms. But the new one that I bought also reads 0 ohms. Does anyone know if this is correct? When I disconnect it the voltage on the battery goes up about a volt and a half.
If I jump start the mower it runs just fine. If I actually run the mower deck the deck will shut down after about ten minutes. If I then start the deck again it will shut off when I press the forward pedal. The mower will run at full throttle and low throttle just fine until I shut it off then it won't restart.
Any help with this would be great.
Thanks
