Since joining GTT, I have found tons of valuable information that has taught me how to take care of my 1025r, maintenance wise and also improvements to make it more enjoyable to use. What threads have help you the most? I'll give some of my favorites.
50 hr service thread: I am not very good at guessing which MM wrench to use. Good info was given on the right sizes. Suggestions on how to get tight filters off. Other great info to numerous to mention. I'll visit this one often.
RIO disable thread: What I would have done if I had not found this thread. What a lifesaver for me. I was always killing the engine at full throttle just because I forgot to pull the PTO knob up before backing up. I did it numerous time and thought it was very hard on it to kill an engine at full throttle.
Creeping forward thread: Great information from "dieselshadow" on how to adjust this by providing the instruction page. I did find out on my own that this can be adjusted where the creep is gone, but you cannot start MMM PTO if the creep is set too much to activate the safety switch. I had to adjust a second time and all worked as it should.
MMM mower adjustment thread: Although I have not had any problems with the way mine cuts grass, I do expect I will as time goes on need to make minor adjustments. I have inspected mine and found that by following these instructions (although confusing at times) mine is good.
Seat Springs thread: I bought these springs from "psrumors" after reading so many positive results that they helped the seat from bottoming out. Well worth the cost to replace the OEMs.
Don't take me wrong way. There are many more threads that are very helpful, but I just wanted to point out the ones that helped me the most, so far. I am very sure more will come along.
What say you? What has been your most helpful/favorite threads?
