I have gotten a heck of a lot of diesel smoke build up on the FEL stand and frame member just behind the stand. I have tried to clean with Simple Green...straight. Took some of the smoke off, but very slowly coupled with not so insignificant elbow grease. Any one have similar buildup, and more importantly any good suggestions for products to remove it more quickly without damaging the paint???
Also, I recall seeing a previous post where someone put an extension on the 1xxx exhaust pipe. To that poster if you read this, how has that worked for you? Does it keep the diesel smoke from building up on the tractor/loader???
Glad I took these pics. The flash on my cell phone picked up a paint chip on the stand that I'll have to get the touch up paint on!
