45 Loader for X7XX tractors.

Folks,

In the process of deciding whether or not to step up into a 1026R or stick with the smaller X700 series. My question is about the loader. I am curious to find out if the 45 loader has valid capabilities or if it is more of a gimmick. Does anybody have any experience with this equipment and can give me some ideas ?
