Good morning friends, I hate to make some of you put down your coffee to answer my question but I'm in need of help. I just purchased the 260 backhoe for my 1026 and it now has around 5 hrs. on the hoe. I just noticed yesterday that the main boom lift scv is now sticking in either the up or down position. It's like cruise control, if you pull forward or back on the boom lift control and then let go of it it will just keep on going on its own. If I shut the tractor off it does not stick so I don't think it's the mechanical linkage but I could be wrong. The controls work smooth without the tractor running but as soon as I start the machine the boom lift scv will stick. It's still usable at the moment but I will get it fixed. I was digging under a 5th wheel camper that I was putting in an underground water and electrical line to when it started acting up. Fortunately when the boom control stuck up after I let go of the lever it slammed into the bottom of the 5th wheel pin instead of going through the floor of the camper! Any ideas on what to check or is she going to the dealer?
